Wizard-themed Party & Crochet Lesson - Baby Mandrake & Pot

Nice to meet you, I’m Annie! I’ve been crocheting for nearly two decades and teaching others is my favorite part. Mom to two sweet boys, and wife to my sweetheart, I absolutely love being kept on my toes.

I am no stranger to a tight budget, so I love to make affordable kits for all types of crocheters, valuable patterns for a low cost, educate via my social media platforms, and offer lessons locally and online. To keep prices friendly, my husband and I assemble the kits ourselves, and I teach in my home to avoid a room rental fee. 

SMALL GROUP CROCHET LESSON - WIZARD PARTY BABY MANDRAKE AND POT -

This listing is for purchasing a kit to make a baby mandrake and pot with me! The pattern is courtesy of Judy from Fantastic Crochet By Judy on Instagram and used with her permission. At my home, you’ll work with me in a small group of up to 6 participants to make your own project. We’ll work in a 5 hour time window at the date and time of your choosing (make sure to select the correct option for your class).

INFORMATION

- small group of up to 6 participants taught in my home located 5 minutes from Ridley’s in Eagle Mountain (address provided after payment) we are a pet-free, smoke-free, and child-safe home, please contact me with any specific concerns or questions
**service animals will always be allowed but please let me know so I can take proper precautions for them

- all materials are provided in the cost, some materials such as scissors are provided for use but are to stay in the classroom

INCLUDED IN THE KIT (and you get to take it with you)

- yellow, clay and black yarn

- your choice of assorted color yarn for the pot

- polyester stuffing

- 5mm crochet hook

- 1 tapestry needle

- 3 stitch markers

- 5 hour time slot with in-person instruction (you don’t have to stay the entire time, this is just so you have a large time window in which to work and you don’t feel rushed)

A LITTLE NOTE -

This is a wizard themed crochet party, which is intended to be both a crochet class and a fun costume party. We will watch the first movie of a very popular 8-movie wizard series, munch on yummy themed snacks, have a house sorting ceremony, play some tricky trivia games, and of course crochet our baby mandrake and its pot. Dressing up isn’t required, but it is encouraged! 

Due to the level of difficulty of the pattern, this class is intended to be for crocheters that have previously crocheted and is not for someone who has never crocheted. The skill level is advised as intermediate, and I do recommend ages 10 and up due to the level of concentration and content of the movie.
